Anstruther Utd started retraining after 11 years out of the
Amateur League.Hopefully with a good squad mix of experienced
and younger players,they hope to give a good account of themselves in the 2nd Division of the Fife Amateur League.
As well as Anstruther there will be another 3 new teams joining
the league this season. Two teams from Dunfermline and 1 from St Andrews.
Pre-season started on the 9th of July at Bankie Park
where all the home matches will be played.The target this
season is to build as good a squad as possible and for all who are involved with the team to enjoy their Saturday afternoon’s
football and to put Anstruther Utd back on the Amateur map.
The team sponsor is Mr D Stewart of the Salutation Bar, Shore
Street, Anstruther and without his support for this coming season it would be very difficult to make this project work. We
also have a newly elected willing Committee to work behind the scenes keeping things in order. This years Committee are

Anstruther's first game will be a friendly against Leven under
21 team at Bankie Park, Glenrothes on Tuesday 26th July 7.30pm kick off. Another friendly has been arranged against Fife Thistle of St Andrews on Tuesday 9th August
7.00 pm kick off (venue still to be confirmed). Other friendlys have still to be arranged before the start of the season and
will be added to the web site shortly.
Anstruther Utd 1st team colours will be white with
a red stripe, red shorts and red socks. The 2nd strips are white shirts with a black sleeve, black shorts and black socks.Each week we will update this web page with match reports and match photographs
as well as match fixtures and league positions so we hope that you will enjoy our web page and if you can come along and support
